Sophie regularly gives fans a glimpse inside her family life on Instagram, where she shares a mixture of work-related posts and adorable snaps of her partner Matt, 33, and their son, who was born in April 2021.
The actress revealed back in June that she and Matt had decided to uproot and move to a new home in the middle of the countryside.
Their gorgeous abode was in need of much work however, and over the months that followed they’ve been busy transforming the property.
Sharing a snap of the incredible house on Instagram, Sophie could be seen sat on the front steps in a denim smock dress and sandals as she cradled her baby son.
She excitedly told her followers: “Sold up and brought this big, beautiful, slightly spooky old house in the countryside. Anyone out there handy at house restoration… err may you could raise your hands?”
The star has been documenting her and Matt’s progress ever since, with the couple making it their goal to have the house ready in time for Christmas.
Sophie revealed on Christmas Eve that they’d managed to give their home an impressive makeover just in time, and unveiled their gorgeous new living room ahead of the big day.
The pair had painted the room white and pale green, and opted for sleek laminate flooring. A large cream sofa sits against one wall, while a velvet pink sofa is located on the other side.
A huge cream rug has been placed in the centre of the sofas, and a series of paintings of different animals have been hung on the wall.
At the other end of the spacious lounge is an incredible fireplace filled with logs, with a quirky painting hung above it.
Another hug rug fills the floor, and two cream armchairs along with a matching sofa are dotted around the fireplace, making for the perfect cosy spot to relax during the colder months.
A brown leather coffee table is situated in the centre, and a small cream lamp is stood in the corner with a another painting framed and hung up next to it.
Sophie has also unveiled one of the many bedrooms at their home, which features a large window that overlooks their sprawling back garden.
The actress previously posted a snap of her holding her son as they looked out the window, along with the sweet caption: “Early morning pyjama club HQ”.
Arguably the most impressive feature of Sophie and Matt’s home is the back garden, which boasts dozens of colourful flowers and a gravel path.
The huge space is filled with a variety of plants, bushes, and trees, and appears to be the perfect spot to soak up the sun during the summer months.
Sharing a photo taken from afar of herself walking through the garden, Sophie wrote on Instagram: “Home sweet sweet sweet home. Have a few weeks off for the summer so if you need me I’ll be here, getting chased by bees and trying not to totally botch this beautiful garden we’ve inherited with the house.”
Peaky Blinders continues on BBC One at 9pm on Sunday 20 March.
